Washington owner at the start of restoration process. Frame and body restored by Bruce Kimmins, AZ.circa 2005
Rolled out of the CO. restoration shop exterior body trim and most chrome installed. Suspension and all new internal panels hand brushed and installed from front to rear.
All new internal nose panels and oil cooler installed prior to plumbing of the cooler with aero-quip lines.
CSX-3112 on the ground with full weight of the freshly restored 427 sideoiler & toploader transmission.
This cobra was restored to original street configuration with no hood scoop, roll bar or side pipes.
Original gas tank and radiator were restored.
The exhaust system was fabricated as per original with over rear suspension using all SSteel tubing. Note the original CORRECT sunburst aluminum wheels.
Polished SSteel exhaust tip installed and are removable for polishing with set screws.
Installation of the nose foil/ air spliter. with correct chrome trim.
Bruce Kimmins fabricated a new nose foil as the original was discarded during past ownership. This occured with many street 427 cobras as the owner attempted to make them appear as Comp/ S/C's.
Bruce KImmins also made and installed new top and bottom nose panels
Note the aluminum body is very straight.
No bondo was used on the body. Only some small areas needed slight amounts of skim putty.

Dave Bliss, WA. built and dynoed the 427 @ 485bhp.
Motor was topped with a 780 Lemans Holley and sports Medium Rise heads.
Engine is cooled with one tornado electric fan aft and electric fan in the front. Fans theromstatically controlled.
427 T-Pan
Battery cut-off switch was added with a 60amp main circuit breaker.
Mike Scaplo and his father Ralph, Pueblo, CO. installed a new 427 wiring harness. Margaret Lucas, NM., restored and calibrated all the Smith guages.
Correct rubber hose hood pads.
Trunk with all new panels, perfect SUNBURST spare tire and all the correct tools.
Trunk nearing completion. Rear bumper wrapped to protect chrome plating.
Trunk after completion with an edged carpet to protect the trunck tray from spare tire rubbing.
Jack restored and installed.

Jack tools and grease gun installed.
All suspension pieces powder coated. Brake Calipers all electa-less nickel plated
New rotors and NOS Konis installed
New coil springs installed and Dave Dralle, CA. provided new Delron suspension bushings and specs to have the car handle and sit and have the correct load and stance.
To get the cars suspension to align perfectly a special locking shim was machined and placed between the upper ball joint and the upper A-arm.
That locking bushing gave appprox. 1/2
New LR fender skirt
New RR fender skirt.
No undercoating was used during the resto. Instead all inner fenders were lined with removable close cell white 1/8
Interior with new leather dash. New Wilton wool carpets, door pockets, etc.

Interior complete to include side curtains/top with new envelope.
CSX-3112 has optional aluminum door sill edging and door hinge covers.
Door rubber seal installed.
CSX-3112 has a full functional original heater. Glove box interior reflected a plate containing restoration history/ data.

First Place Concor Riverside, CA. SAAC convention. The next owner who resides in UT. took first place concor again at the SAAC convention @ Miller motorsports speedway in UT.
